People often tell me that they don’t think they can repair furniture. My argument is what can possibly go wrong. You are going to throw it away anyway. You don’t need a lot of tools. You will be amazed at what you can achieve with nothing but some of the very common tools. Here is a list of what you should have handy.

1. Hammer
2. Nail Pull
3. Long Nose Pliers
4. Regular Pliers
5. Speed Square
6. Plastic wood filler
7. Sandpaper 80,200,320 grit
8. Wood Glue
9. Contact Cement
10. Some clamps to hold the material while the glue dries.
11. Jigsaw machine to cut wood.
12. Stain or Color
13. Some kind of finish such as poly-acrylic or Polyurethane
