• Age Appropriateness: While there’s no strict age limit, the lacing board is typically suitable for toddlers and preschoolers who have begun developing their fine motor skills.
• Supervision for Younger Children: For toddlers and younger preschoolers, adult supervision may be necessary to ensure safety and provide guidance as they learn to use the lacing board.

 How to Use:

• Choose a Lace: Select a colorful lace from those provided with the lacing board. These laces are typically designed to be thick and easy for small hands to grip.
• Pick a Hole: Decide where you want to start threading on the board. You can begin anywhere along the edge.
• Thread the Lace: Insert one end of the lace into the chosen hole from the front of the board, then pull it through until there’s a small tail left on the front side.
• Guide the Lace: Hold onto the lace tail and guide it through the holes in the pattern or shape on the board. Use your fingers to push the lace through each hole from the front to the back.
• Continue Threading: Keep threading the lace through each consecutive hole until you reach the end of the pattern or shape. You can go back and forth through the holes or follow a specific pattern, depending on the design of the lacing board.
• Tie Off the Lace: Once you’ve finished threading, tie a knot at the end of the lace to secure it. You can also leave the lace loose for further threading or to practice tying knots.
• Explore Creativity: Encourage creativity by experimenting with different patterns or shapes on the board. Children can create their own designs or follow suggested patterns provided with the lacing board.
• Practice and Play: Let children explore and play with the lacing board at their own pace. It’s a great activity for developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity.
